Intro To Drop Spindle
Have you been curious about braids and batts? This class is a great way to try out spinning and get started creating your own yarn! This class will include learning to prep and draft your wool, spinning a single ply and spinning a 2-ply yarn.
Class will be held Saturday, September 13.
The cost of the class includes:
-Basic drop spindle
-2 oz. wool
Your instructor: Heather of Zen Fiber Arts
Heather started spinning during the height of the pandemic as a way to relieve stress. As a health care worker and mom of two boys, the need for healthy relaxation was strong. Zen Fiber Arts began as a tool to introduce others to fiber arts and as a healthy outlet for stress relief.
Knitting 9-1-1
Do you have a knitting project that you feel stuck on? Does the pattern call for a stitch that you're not confident on? Do you think you messed up but don't know how?
Come to a Knitting 9-1-1 session with knitting expert, Christine. Christine will sit with you and direct whatever it is you need to get yourself back on track with your beloved project.
Students will have to bring their own project, their own pattern and yarn needed for project. Class fee is $25. Our 9-1-1 session begins at 10am and will last until 11am, potentially 12pm depending on projects.
